Welcome to the Mixed Reality Scandinavia conference 2011 at Ystad Saltsjöbad, September 15th-16th. Take part in inspiring meetings and learn about the latest news in film tourism and destination development.
This year’s theme is “Location based storytelling” and we will give you exciting insights in augmented reality, participatory drama, vampire tourism and the use of mobile technology and game mechanics.

This is a conference for you who want to create new collaborations and meet representatives and decision makers from municipalities, the tourist- film- and innovative media businesses.
The conference is led by the well known Swedish film critic, journalist and lecturer Orvar Säfström!

Evening dinner party! – Vendel Ales Stenar
After Thursday’s speaker sessions, you will get a longer break to recharge and prepare for the evening festivities. If you want you have the opportunity to watch the Swedish film” Kyss Mig” (Kiss me) starring Ruth Vega Fernandez and Liv Mjönäs. The film is shown in Saltsjöbaden’s movie theater.
At 19.30 a bus will pick you up outside of Saltsjöbaden and take you to the highly reputed restaurant Vendel Ale’s Stones in Kåseberga. There you are treated to a sumptuous three-course dinner with wine. DJ Carl Nordström keeps the music on top and the companies Briza Maxima and Odyssé ensure that the evening will be unforgettable. You will be able to return to Saltsjöbaden at 22:30 and 24:00. This is a dinner party you absolutely don’t want to miss!
